Technic pack.  It's a whole LOAD of mods, put together in one package.  Remember how overwhelmed with stuff you were when you first played Minecraft?  This is that times fifty.

The "big four" of Technic (these are mods that by themselves add a huge amount of content to Minecraft) are:

Thaumcraft 2
Equivalent Exchange

Optifine is included as well, which is good because this thing would completely fry everyone's computers if it didn't.

EDIT: Oh, did I mention it has its own launcher?  The launcher allows you to easily switch back and forth between Technic, Vanilla, and several other game modes I haven't tried yet.

It's okay; if I can manage to get through all the time without any interruptions, then after it finishes downloading, I should be free for the rest of the time. =) I'll save Portal for Monday; gives me time to have a backup plan to download TF2 on my laptop if it won't work because of GL problems, and just overall will work out right, since it'd maximize time to play with familiar people. =D

Hey guys, first good news I've had in weeks: my computer will be home on Monday

Now I just PRAY they didn't wipe my hard drive. >__> Although it would more be a hassle than a serious problem, I don't think permanently I'd lose anything besides my Minecraft saves and some GIMP stuff. And I'd have to re-setup my minecraft server, which is a bit of a pain, but hey. =P I'm just glad I'm getting it back at a decent time.

Ddude: You think you have it bad; think about me, I constantly need 30k XP to level up, and I only get 500 or so, 1000 if I'm lucky. =P I'm never going to reach 56 at this rate, since it does get kinda repetitive. Hence why I take breaks every so often, and drag you back into the game when I get back into it. =P But, as long as I have my Wii active and nearby, I accept matches when I'm able to. =P

The biggest problem with Goldeneye is that it takes so insanely long to level, and it's fairly rare you unlock something good for leveling, so there isn't a ton of incentive.

By the way, have you actually played the singleplayer campaign, Blade?

I crushed the Single Player a long time ago. Didn't really look back, either. =P

But yeah, I agree... It gets better in the 40s, when all the good weapons and equipment get unlocked... But it still takes an obscenely long time to level up, especially with rage quitters. Leveled twice over the past week, though. =D
