Filler meaning stuff like 'oh, okay, go herd some goats', or 'oh, okay, go collect tears of light'.(And yeah, walking around back and forth endlessly through an empty field like TP and even OoT, though that wasn't as bad there) Whatever it does have in place of that, is pure overworld awesomeness, like the original games. Places that actually aren't empty for as far as the eye can see.

It is disappointing to hear that you don't think it'd be worth it though. =/ Did I mention it has about 50 hours worth of main-game content? And that most of it is actual fighting stuff stuff? =P But I guess it makes sense, if that's part of the reason...

Well, yeah, but I meant that everything is pretty perfect, even the motion controls. I think most of the people who complain are the people who for some reason think that motion-based gaming shouldn't happen. Those people likely are lazy for the most part, though the ones who literally can't because of some medical reason are exempt from that generalization. =P

1) herding goats and collecting tears of light was really annoying. although at least the tears of light served a purpose.
2)50 hours would make it worth the money (for me that's about $1 / hour of gameplay). But I would never finish all of that, especially if the dungeons are long, as i don't play for long periods of time.
3)motion controls can be annoying though, or really good (as you seem to be implying for SS). i think that's another reason i don't play wii as much- i'd rather toss a football back and forth to move my arms, and a lot of the motions i make during gameplay are exaggerated so that they work well.

1. Yeah. There is admittedly a similar section, but they made it much better(Especially since there's no Wolf Link. =P)

2. The dungeons aren't too long, but there are save points scattered all through the dungeons, so you never have to backtrack more than a few rooms. =) Plus, there is a second, harder quest after beating the game once. I haven't started that, but factoring in many, many deaths, I predict about 60-70 hours for the main stuff.

3. The controls in this are pretty much flawless(Except for Stabbing. That'll always be a pain. =P). You can either use slight movements of your wrist, or the entire swing, though obviously it was intended for the entire swing. =P You need to shake the nunchuk for shield stuff, but that's not too bad compared to the horrors that are the advanced techniques in Twilight Princess.(They needed to take a step back when they thought up where to map all the different moves when porting it to the Wii. =P)

However, in this, it all feels natural; as natural as it would for pressing buttons like in the old system. As I was saying over on BZP, I tried to go back to Ocarina 3D, and just couldn't do it. The system has been improved too much in Skyward Sword. =P

There's a second 'mode', like in almost all the older games; the 'Second Quest' as it's known in the original Zelda, possibly Zelda II(I'll confirm if I ever beat that. =P), Master Quest in Ocarina(Though only through Ocarina 3D), whatever it's called in Wind Waker, and anything else I forgot to mention.

In this, however, it's called 'Hero Mode'.

To sum up, it's not an actual 'second adventure right in the game', it's a replay of sorts. If that makes sense. =P

Interesting; the Link's Awakening Overworld Theme, dubstep remixed. Sweet. =D I'm thankful for having gotten Link's Awakening not long ago, now. =P Would've recognized it, but it was in my memory because I played it not long ago. =)
