Yeah, so what MsRR posted is the link. i was unsure as to what was allowed to be posted, as Facebook isn't moderated. But yeah, on the page there is part of an unwritten chapter.
Does anyone have any books they'd recommend? Age range is basically teen and up. Preferably more on the realistic side of things.

Well, you may want to try out the Ranger's Apprentice series; they're not bad.

If you'd like to get inside your spiritual self a bit I highly recommend Joshua by Joseph Girzone, followed by the rest of the Joshua series. It is written as if Jesus had returned to the world today and roamed as the seemingly ordinary "Joshua".

ZLS: Well, I'd have recommended Eragon and the following books; but, well, they're not that realistic, given that they have magic, elves, dragons, and dwarves, and more creatures you wouldn't find here. =P
Dunno what you'd think of the Ink series, or if you've read the trilogy, but it was a pretty good series.

@MsRR: that sounds pretty interesting. How many books are in the series?
@Blade: I've tried to read both Inkheart and Eragon and could not get into them. However, I did read Dragon Rider (by the same author as the Ink series) and enjoyed that, so I may give both series a try again. The Inheritance series now has 4 books right? (I thought it was previously a trilogy...)

If you liked Dragon Rider, you should try out another book by the same author; The Theif Lord. Also, the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson and the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan are both really fantastic.

This actually makes me want to read the series, just to say I have. What genre of book are they? 1600 pages would be rediculous for a book. I'm not sure you could read the book without cracking the spine (I hate when that happens). When I read the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo I kept the spine in perfect condition (nearly), and then my mom read it and ruined it... |
